With summer right around the corner it is time to start thinking about creating your home environment space that will be easy for you to prepare for all your summer parties. If you have a breakfast bar, make sure you have enough bar stools to go around the breakfast bar. If you normally have three, but there is enough room for 6, invest in 3 more bar stools. That will add additional seating. If you have a smaller dining room table, now might be the time to invest in a larger dining room table, or a smaller corner breakfast table. Having a bench for your table, or extra chairs, allows for much more seating space. People have a tendency to congregate, and gather around the table even long after dinner is done.
Now off to the living room. Imagine the fireplace is aglow with it’s bright twinkling lights, and people are standing around, chatting up a storm. Making sure there is enough room to seat between 6-8 people in each room, is key for any party or event you are hosting at your home. You want to make sure you either have a sectional, along with an occasional chair or two, or if you prefer your traditional couch, you want to look at either having two full size couches if space allows, or a couch, loveseat, and a matching chair. If you have left over chairs in the dining room, or folding chairs, the extra chairs can be brought into the living room for overflow.
